STACYC Brings the Gate Drop to the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in Czech Republic
STACYC marked its 10-year anniversary this year by rolling into the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in the Czech Republic, and the weekend turned out to be one of the biggest showcases yet for the brand. With hundreds of riders and their families on site, STACYC set up shop to give young racers a hands-on look at the bikes that have helped an entire generation of little rippers build the skills and confidence to hit the track. By the time the checkered flags came out, over 100 riders had thrown a leg over a STACYC and experienced the bikes for themselves.
Matt Schumann, STACYC's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, summed up why the event was such a natural fit. "We're so excited to get involved with the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship! With around 300 riders and their families at the event, this is a perfect opportunity to connect with the sport, support the next generation of talent, and showcase our products to a wide array of talented young riders and their families. Our bikes are designed for confidence and deliver key skill sets to developing young riders. We're proud to be associated with a number of high-profile events, but we believe this is a great new opportunity for us and the young riders at the race. We'll also be providing some Friday night entertainment with a holeshot challenge, and we invite competitors and their families to visit us over the course of the weekend."
The holeshot challenge ended up being one of the highlights of the weekend, giving riders and their families something fun to look forward to before the racing got underway. Between the demo bikes, the challenge, and the sheer number of families who stopped by throughout the weekend, STACYC's presence at the event lined up perfectly with what the brand has stood for over the last decade: getting kids on two wheels early and setting them up to grow into the sport.
The FIM Junior Motocross World Championship gave STACYC a global stage to do exactly that, and with over 100 riders getting their first taste of a STACYC in the Czech Republic, the weekend delivered exactly the kind of grassroots connection the brand was after.
